Companies
Organizations committed to protecting our ecosystems and implementing initiatives that promote environmental stewardship. Submit your nomination by completing the application form.
Key Opinion Leader
This award recognizes influential leaders who use their platform to advocate for environmental conservation and inspire collective action for the benefit of society.
Advocates
We recognize journalists, educators, and communicators who encourage responsible practices and inspire their audiences to take action in support of our planet.
Content Creator
This category is decided by the public! Follow our social media channels and stay tuned. Voting will open soon to select the Most Ecocentric Content Creator.
Provide a supporting statement of up to 200 words explaining the project or initiative behind the nominated individual or organization.
Applications that demonstrate the scope and impact of the initiative will be given special consideration. Please include quantitative data whenever possible, such as investment figures, number of participants, measurable outcomes, or any other relevant information that helps evaluate your project.
The People’s Choice Award will be presented to a content creator committed to sustainability. Vote for your favourite until 14 October 2026 at 11:59 p.m. through our Instagram account.
The nomination period closes on 1 September 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Once the submission period has ended, the jury will review all eligible applications and select the winning projects.
Applicants will be notified of the status of their nomination on 21 September 2026.
The awards ceremony will take place during October 2026 in the Dominican Republic.

Our trophies celebrate the achievements of the winners while telling a story of innovation, creativity, and commitment—encouraging others to help build a more sustainable future.
Artisan Competition
The trophy presented at the Los + Ecoistas Awards Dominican Republic ceremony is more than a symbol of recognition it is a unique work of art.
We are opening applications for our Artisan Competition, aimed at emerging local artists and craftspeople.
This initiative is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the National Centre for Crafts (CENADARTE) to promote local talent and celebrate creativity through sustainable craftsmanship.
If you are an artisan or emerging artist, this is your opportunity to showcase your work.
You have until 1 September 2026 to submit your proposal.
The winning design will be selected through an open competition, with the results announced on 9 September 2026. CENADARTE will notify the selected participant directly.

Our History
Candidates must submit a justification of max. 200 words for the presentation of their nomination, in which they explain their environmentally sustainable project/initiative that makes them worthy of the +Ecoists 2025 award.
