Through We Are Ecocentric, Piñero’s ecological movement, we honor individuals, companies, and organizations that confront climate change through both small and large actions.
We are looking for initiatives that are human, conscious, and connected to the present—projects that create a real impact on their surroundings and on people’s lives. We are searching for Los + Ecoístas in Mexico!
As ecocentric, we believe this planet belongs to all of us. We want to care for it accordingly and work every day to leave a better world than the one we found. These awards are here to celebrate those who, like us, are the Most Ecocentric.

Join the movement with your Los + Ecoístas action plan!
To win, applications must reflect gestures or actions that you or your organization are currently carrying out to protect what you love: your environment. The planet will be grateful, and through We Are Ecocentric, we transform that gratitude into an awards ceremony that will take place in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
We are looking for ecocentric who, like us, demonstrate their commitment through actions that care for the environment. Initiatives will be awarded if they: promote environmental education and awareness, invest in sustainable projects, reduce carbon footprints, protect biodiversity—flora and fauna—support the circular economy, improve energy efficiency, and, ultimately, demonstrate a strong ecocentric commitment.
Share a justification—maximum 200 words —explaining the project or initiative that supports the nominated person or organization.
We are looking for real and inspiring stories.
Applications that indicate the scope and impact of the initiative will be especially valued. Provide quantitative data, investment details, number of participants, or any other relevant information. Every detail helps us better evaluate your project.
The People’s Choice Award will be given to a content creator committed to sustainability.
Vote for your favorite until May 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM on our Instagram account.
The deadline to submit entries for the awards is April 20, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Applications submitted after the established deadline will not be accepted.
Once the submission period has ended, the jury will meet to evaluate each application and select the winning projects.
On April 27, 2026, participants will be notified of the status of their application. The awards ceremony will take place on May 26 in Quintana Roo.

2026 award
Los+ecoistas Awards return to Mexico once again with exciting new features and categories.
In this edition, the statuette awarded to winners will be chosen through a contest aimed at young local artists and artisans. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Secretariat of Tourism (SEDETUR) and the Quintana Roo Institute of Culture (ICA) to promote local talent and reward creativity based on a sustainable artisanal model.
If you are an artisan or emerging artist, this is your chance to shine! Submissions are open until April 10. The winning design will be selected through an open contest, with the results to be announced on April 17.
